Neem Oil Cake

Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are three vital nutrients for growth and nourishment in plants. Nitrogen is a key element in chlorophyll, phosphorous is found in every cell, and potassium is necessary for the conduit of essential nutrients and water from the root to the leaves. Therefore, a potent organic fertilizer ought to revitalize plants with these key nutrients. Our product, Neem Oil Cake, a by-product obtained from cold pressing neem fruits and kernels, serves as an excellent organic neem fertilizer. Having tasted significant success in India with this organic product, we are ready to spread our network in expanding our market success to countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

According to the Bureau of India Standards, Specification No. 8558, neem is a potential source of organic manure. Research proves that Neem Oil Cake increases the fertility of the soil by preventing soil bacteria from converting nitrogenous compounds into nitrogen gas. As a nitrification inhibitor, it prolongs the nitrogen availability in the soil benefits both short and long-duration crops.

Use as a Fertilizer

Neem Oil Cake is effectively used in India as a fertilizer in paddy, cotton, and sugarcane. It is said to substantially increase dry matter in Tectona grandis (Teak), Acacia nilotica (Gum Arabic), and other forest trees. It also reduces alkalinity in soil by producing organic acids on decomposition. As it is a natural fertilizer, it is beneficial to microbes, improves rhizosphere microflora, and increases the fertility of the soil. It enhances the organic content of the soil, improves soil texture, and increases soil aeration promoting better root development.

Pest Control

Neem Oil Cake has a natural capacity to function as an insecticide and pesticide. The bitter principles of the soil and cake endow Neem Oil Cake with antifeedant, attractant, repellent, insecticide, nematicide, growth disruptor, and antimicrobial properties.

Neem Oil Cake has salannin, nimbin, azadirachtin and azadiradione as its major ingredients. While azadirachtin and meliantriol are locust antifeedants, salannin is an antifeedant for the housefly. Thus, Neem Oil Cake has dual functions: although it is primarily used as a natural fertilizer, it can also protect plant roots from nematodes, soil grubs, and white ants. The residual limonoids in the neem oil cake make it a natural pesticide.

Mode of Use

Neem Oil Cake is suitable for all kinds of soil owing to its high concentration of organic matter. It can be used as a fertilizer for turf and lawns.
